Gaveta.net is your online flash drive: a free space to store, organise and share files. These terms explain how to use the service and protect your data.
Storing or sharing files does not transfer ownership to Gaveta.
Check recipients, expiry and whether future files are included.
Online storage and the recycle bin do not replace a backup.
1. Service provider and contacts
TECLA ENTER Lda · NIF 508849870
2. The free service
Gaveta.net provides browser-based storage, folders, previews of supported formats, downloads, sharing and the tools shown on the platform. The free service uses ENTER.PT Cloud infrastructure.
Your account and operation screens show capacity and applicable limits. Professional services, extra capacity or service levels require separate agreed terms; creating a free account does not subscribe you to those services.
3. Your account and access security
Provide accurate details and keep your email current for service messages and account recovery. Protect your password, confirmation codes and session; sign out on shared devices. Report suspected unauthorised access to support.
Use the service within your legal capacity and with authority when acting for another person or organisation. Do not use other people’s accounts or bypass access controls.
4. Your files and acceptable use
Content rights remain with their holders. Uploading permits storage and technical processing needed for requested operations, including previews, compression and delivery to recipients of shares you create.
Only store and share content you can lawfully use, respecting copyright, privacy and confidentiality. Do not distribute unlawful content, malware, fraud or spam, or compromise the service’s security or availability.
6. Storage, recycle bin and permanent operations
Storage shows account usage and quota. Recycled items still use space until deleted. Check your options for the applicable cleanup policy; the recycle bin is not a permanent archive.
Restoration requires items to remain available. Emptying the bin or confirming permanent deletion cannot be reversed through the interface. Compression can delete originals without using the bin when you select that option, as explained in the operation warning.
Disk/database synchronisation corrects discrepancies; it cannot recreate missing files. Read the analysis and review affected items before confirming record cleanup.
7. Availability and backups
Maintenance, technical faults or security incidents may interrupt the service. The free service includes no contractual guarantee of continuous availability, response time or file recovery.
Keep independent copies of important data and verify downloads before deleting originals. Free access does not exclude the provider’s liability under applicable law or limit mandatory user rights.
8. Personal data and privacy
Operating the service involves identification and contact details, files and metadata, preferences, sharing settings, activity records and support or feedback submissions. These enable account management, requested operations, support and investigation of incidents or abuse.
Shares expose content and file names to recipients according to your chosen restrictions. Do not include others’ data without a legitimate basis. Activity records support account history, administration and security.
Contact apoiocliente@enter.pt to exercise applicable rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, or to ask about processing. You may also complain to the CNPD. Data deletion is subject to applicable legal retention duties.
9. Purposes and legal grounds
Data needed to create and manage your account and perform requested operations is processed to provide the contracted service or take pre-contractual steps (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Required fields are needed for the account or operation; without them the relevant function may not be available.
Abuse prevention, access protection and incident investigation rely on the legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure (point (f)), balanced against individuals’ rights. Legal duties rely on point (c). Processing requiring consent needs a specific, withdrawable choice; accepting the Terms does not authorise advertising.
10. Data location and recipients
Service data is hosted in Portugal on infrastructure managed by ENTER.PT, without external providers contracted to host or operate Gaveta. Internal access must be limited to authorised people who need it for support, administration or security.
Share recipients receive the content you choose to make available. Messages to your email are delivered to the email service you use, and links to other sites are subject to their policies. Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.
11. Data retention and deletion
Active files are retained while you keep your account and do not delete them. Recycled items follow your selected policy. Data required for the account and evidence of accepted Terms accompany the service relationship.
This version has no periodic age-based cleanup of activity history, technical records, support requests or feedback. Closing a support request does not delete it. Retention of these categories and interventions in mail and backups are overseen by the responsible team.
You may request assessment and erasure of your data through the contacts on this page. The absence of automatic cleanup does not remove your rights or the duty to limit retention to what is necessary. Closing an account requires reviewing active systems, mail, backups and any specific legal duties.
Any future time-based cleanup policy will be defined and communicated before being applied. Deletion operations you request through the interface and your chosen recycle-bin policy continue to have the effects explained in their notices.
12. How to exercise your rights
Email apoiocliente@enter.pt with the right you wish to exercise and the relevant account. Proportionate additional information may be requested where there are reasonable doubts about identity; do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents.
We normally respond within one month. Where legally permitted, this may be extended by two further months, with reasons communicated within the first month. If a request cannot be fulfilled, reasons and complaint options will be provided. You may complain to the CNPD and seek a judicial remedy.
13. Sessions, preferences and communications
Session cookies and browser storage maintain access and interface preferences. Deleting or blocking them may sign you out or reset settings.
Service messages include confirmations, access recovery and share notifications. Do not share recovery codes or links.
14. Abuse, access restrictions and closure
An account or share may be restricted where necessary to address abuse, a security risk or a legal duty. Report or contest issues through support, identifying the account or relevant link and describing the facts without disclosing credentials.
Request account closure through support. Download files you want to keep and review active shares first. The request must allow account ownership to be verified and the consequences of deletion to be clarified.
15. Terms and clarification
Material changes will be communicated on the platform before they apply, identifying the version, effective date and main changes. Merely viewing a notice is not recorded as acceptance. Contact support for clarification or to request account closure.
These terms are interpreted under applicable law without overriding mandatory consumer and data protection rights. ENTER.PT company information complements the contacts here and is not an additional storage or recovery guarantee.
16. Complaints and dispute resolution
You can complain to support and, where applicable, through the Electronic Complaints Book. Consumer disputes may be referred to a competent alternative dispute resolution body.
CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo includes Ourém within its territorial coverage. Jurisdiction in a particular case depends, among other things, on the consumer’s residence, place of contracting and applicable dispute rules. Listing this centre does not imply full membership by TECLA ENTER Lda or exclude another competent body or access to courts.
